DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Chamber proudly offers two $1\,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from our community. These scholarships are designed to support local students in their academic journeys and future endeavors\, providing financial assistance as they continue their education beyond high school. The Chamber is committed to investing in the future of our community by empowering young leaders with the resources they need to succeed.\n\nFounded in 1923\, the Chamber of Commerce Serving Lexington\, Buena Vista\, and Rockbridge County has been dedicated to fostering neighborliness and strengthening the bonds within our community. Today\, our mission remains focused on championing civic and economic progress to create a vibrant environment for all.\n\nThe Chamber is organized to achieve the following objectives:\n\n	Promote business and community growth through economic programs that strengthen and expand the income potential of businesses in our region.\n	Preserve competitive enterprise to ensure a healthy and sustainable business environment.\n	Create appreciation for the vital role of business persons in the prosperity of our community.\n	Enhance the quality of life by supporting programs of a civic\, social\, and cultural nature.
