With a background in workforce development\, academic affairs\, and institutional advancement\, Dr. Rainone has held senior positions at York County Community College and New Hampshire Technical College. He is passionate about teaching and has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Rainone is actively involved in numerous boards and organizations\, including the Rural Community College Alliance\, the Virginia Community College Statewide Phi Theta Kappa Chair\, and the Alleghany YMCA. He has received multiple awards\, including the "Emerging Leadership" Award from AACC and "Entrepreneurial President of the Year" from the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship.
