DESCRIPTION:The Government Relations Committee of Chamber of Commerce serving Lexington\, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County will host a Candidate Forum at Parry McCluer Middle School on Thursday\, October 26\, 2017. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. Candidates for the following offices will be participating:\n\n\n\nBuena Vista Mayor\n\nBuena Vista City Council\n\nBuena Vista Sheriff\n\nBuena Vista Commonwealth Attorney\n\nGlasgow Mayor\n\nGlasgow Town Council\n\n\n\nForum Format:\n\n\n\nA moderator will pose predetermined questions to the candidates. All of the questions selected for the forum have been provided to the candidates in writing.\n\n\n\nAudience members will have an opportunity to submit a written question upon arrival to the forum. These questions will be provided to the moderator. If time permits\, the moderator may pose some audience questions to the candidates.\n\n\n\nAll interaction with the candidates during the question-and-answer session will occur via the moderator. The audience will not be allowed to interact directly with the candidates during the question-and-answer session.\n\n\n\nThere will be opportunities to interact with the candidates prior to and upon completion of the Q&A session.
